We went to Pancake Pantry for lunch (at 10:30) so that makes for an extra-long afternoon. Especially when one's tummy is very full and one cannot easily take a nap in one's office! Of course, one of my coworkers down the hall just falls asleep at her computer with her door wide open all the time so maybe I shouldn't care so much, but I do. Wouldn't want to scare anyone with my snoring.
I crocheted a scarf last night. In about 20 minutes. Now it's not very long, because I ran out of one of the kinds of yarn and since I bought it at least 2 years ago I didn't want to count on finding more somewhere. But I find it amusing that when I was crocheting scarfs for Christmas two years ago it took me FOREVER to do them. I guess practice does make perfect...or maybe practice just makes fast.
I still can't seem to get my more complicated patterns to work. I have been working on this baby sweater for a week and a half that is done with a little hook and all single crochet, so it's tiny stitches and very frustrating. Come to find out yesterday it didn't match the size it's supposed to be at all. Frustration!! My experiment in trying to make things that are not square isn't as great as it could be! I keep meaning to take pictures of my successful projects and post them somewhere.
Enough random warbling, I suppose.
